The Cost to Move

It depends on type of moving includes labor cost and truck cost.

Labor Pricing

2 men   /   $180.00 / hr     –      $90.00 / ½ hr
3 men   /   $220.00 / hr     –    $110.00 / ½ hr
4 men   /   $260.00 / hr     –    $130.00 / ½ hr
5 men   /   $299.00 / hr     –    $150.00 / ½ hr
6 men   /   $340.00 / hr     –    $170.00 / ½ hr

Truck Pricing

Truck cost - per load = $195.00

within 10 km's locally

** truck cost is more for out of town moves (fuel + km's)
** If more than 3 men are needed, an extra travel fee will apply
     $1.50 per km for extra vehicle

Ways to Save $$$
  • close all boxes

  • tie all bags up and long loose items together

  • bring items close to the main door of the home

  • remove all loose shelving and glass

  • disassemble any furniture

  • wrap up loose wires

  • do not over pack the weight of the boxes / totes

  • provide clear paths and remove any pet hair

  • label clearly boxes & destination rooms

  • tape or wrap drawers, cupboard doors, pictures & mirrors

  • reduce small bags by combining into larger bag

  • help with the move; a family member or friend

  • remove all feet, legs, possible doors or rails

  • have elevator reserved and loading door open
